Second Transnational Project Meeting

The Second Transnational Meeting took place in Savigliano on September, 1st and 2nd, 2023.

The attendees were the three Steering Committee members (Alessandro De Gregorio for Colegio Santiago Apóstol, Francesco Nasari for Gators Basketball Club and Panos Tsigaras for Amik del Basket), plus the trainers Daniele Scotta and Luigi Sabatino for Gators Basketball Club as well as the associate Alessandro Romitelli for Amik del Basket.

During the first day the hosted participants were welcomed in Savigliano, at Gators Basketball Club Headquarters, where they watch a FIBA World Cup Basketball Match on TV and then they started discussing the project topics (Summative evaluation of the first edition of the Streetball courses, improvement proposals; updates on project web portal and YouTube channel, problem solving, second marketing campaign design, budget monitoring).

After lunch we had a meeting with Savigliano City Major and administration representatives where we presented the project objectives and timeline.

After the meeting we visited Savigliano Sport Halls and Oasi Gioco & Basket Gym, where Gators Basketball Club takes the 3×3 practices for the project.

We transferred to Artesina to check the new basketball court with eco-friendly sustainable material tiles bought by Gators Basketball Club with project funds.

In the evening we went to eat dinner together in a typical Italian restaurant.

The second day (September 2nd) we had a city tour in Savigliano and then we moved to Langhe where we visited Grinzane Cavour Castle, with an amazing view on the Langhe hills and rows of vines. Then we went to Barbaresco for lunch.
